Our Vision
At the School of Intention, our philosophy is simple: when students feel connected, supported, and empowered to explore who they are, learning becomes meaningful again. We believe education should be about more than just meeting standards—it should be about building confidence, curiosity, and purpose. Our vision is to create a space where emotional intelligence, mindset development, and real-world learning come first, and academic success follows naturally. That vision has shaped everything about our community—from the challenges we design to the mentorship and flexible support systems we offer. We’ve created a living, breathing model that evolves with our students, guided by their needs, passions, and experiences. The result is a place where families feel heard, students feel seen, and every learner is equipped not just for school—but for life.
Why Online?
An online community offers families a powerful blend of flexibility, connection, and intentional support. It allows us to adapt quickly—updating lessons, tools, and approaches as we learn from our students and respond to a rapidly changing world. Students and parents can access support anytime simply by logging in, removing the stress of scheduling and making help always available when it’s needed most. This model connects students with peers around the world, helping them build critical communication and collaboration skills for an increasingly digital future. At the same time, we emphasize responsible online practices and prioritize your family’s values, making sure they are not only respected but reinforced through everything we teach.

Meet Co-Founder Corey Rauterkus
After a decade of teaching in public, private, charter, and online schools across the country, I saw firsthand what students were missing—not intelligence or potential, but connection. Too often, education focuses on standards and scores while ignoring the human behind the homework. I wanted something different—something that gave students space to explore who they are, develop the mindset and emotional intelligence to thrive, and connect their learning to real life.
With the help of my brother Bryce, who brings a background in small farming and entrepreneurship, we built the School of Intention as a new kind of supplemental education—one that doesn't replace school, but fills in what it leaves out. Together, we’ve created a supportive, student-first community where growth is personal, success is self-defined, and learning finally feels meaningful again.
